Manikineko Sandbox(Demo)

Unleash your creativity in this quirky, retro-futuristic sandbox game! Developed during Epic's Game Jam over a 3-day sprint, this demo offers a taste of an unpredictable yet entertaining experience reminiscent of early, offbeat titles like 'Goat Simulator'.

Download Information: The game is packaged as a highly compressed zip file. To extract its content, you might require utilities such as 7zip. The compression was necessary because the raw game size exceeds 1GB.

Gameplay & Features:

• Lua Execution: Integrate with LuaMachine for advanced scripting.
• Runtime Model Loading: Inject life into the game with FBX meshes. (Note: VRM & GLTF formats aren't supported and it is recommended not to use anything else besides fbx and objs.)
• PNG Texture Support: Customize visuals with PNG textures. (Other formats will be ignored.)
• Interactive Menu: Navigate with ease.
• Prop Surfing: Stand on the object you've spawned and click-hold to surf around.
• No Physics for Props: This was disabled to prevent unintended launches.
• Object Grabbing: It's a tad glitchy, but definitely usable.

Please note: Multiple model-texture combinations can't be loaded in a single session.

For those interested in scripting, LuaMachine's documentation and the plugin can be found here: https://github.com/rdeioris/LuaMachine (Objects within the game fall under the 'MovableObject' Actor class.)

Bonus Content: Included in the 'Models.zip' are a variety of 3D models I've crafted using Blender, complete with materials. While any PNG can be used as a texture, I've even successfully incorporated SpongeBob memes for a laugh! Models reside in the 'FBX' directory, and while many are manageable in size, be cautious with 'monke.fbx' – it's a giant! If you find yourself entrapped within or below it, simply jump out or click. For those adventurous enough, you can also try prop surfing with it. If you find yourself out of bounds, jump off and click to retrieve the object you've summoned. Additionally, there are some basic shapes with their corresponding '.blend' files which can be used freely.

Remember, while it's a work in progress and may be peppered with glitches, sometimes that's where the charm lies! Dive in and have fun.
